Abstract

Mangroves are intertidal forested wetland confined to the tropical and subtropical regions to grow in estuarine and coastal environments.They are involute and exceptive ecosystem.Mangrove wetland contains abundant fungal resources in the mangrove ecosystem.Mangroves fungi constitute the second largest ecological group of the marine fungi.This paper provides an overview of the definition of mangroves marine fungi,quantity of the fungal resources,geographical distribution and diversity of substrata in the mangrove wetland.
