Construction and Application of NC Machining Experimental Platform Based on Simulation Technology

Abstract

Simulation technique of NC machining is adopted not only in experiments teaching but also in manufacture training.Considering the high accident rate of those students manipulating the NC machines at the first time,the severe damage to the tool and low efficiency in training,this paper constructs a NC machining experimental platform based on simulation technology for NC machining training.It introduces the application principle and constructing elements of the NC simulation system.Then the practical simulation technique of NC machining is discussed.Based on the case of a detail machining,this paper demonstrates the running procession of the NC simulation experimental platform.Example indicates that the application of NC simulation technique will be improve students' capability of programming NC machining,operating the NC machine tool and maintaining the NC system satisfactorily.
