On Influence of Taoism on Chinese Paintings

Abstract
There are significant relationship between Chinese painting and Taoist aesthetic thinking.In the long river of evolution in painting,either from painting theory,aesthetic thinking or in the aspects of subjects,characters,pattern,kinds of painting and developing histories of painters,the influence of Taoist thinking and culture is pervasive in Chinese paintings.
