Abstract
Objective To summarize the experience of diagnosis and treatment of traurnatic small intestinal rupture. Methods From January 2003 to December 2004, 60 cases with traumatic small intestinal rupture were analyzed retrospectively. Results Among them, 58 cases were cured and 2 cases died, Death causes:1 case died from MODS and 1 case died from postoperative hemorrhagic shock because of massive bleeding of abdominal cavity. Postoperative complications were found in 7 cases including MODS 1 case, hemorrhagic shock 1 case, wound infection 4 cases and adhesive imcomplete obstruction 1 case. Conclusion Early diagnosis, correct pre and intraoperative treatment, timely discovery and active managed postoperative complications are very important to improve the cure rate and reduec the mortality of traumatic rupture of small intestinal.
