Abstract
Based on the analysis of the form and problems of the travel-map symbols,the author makes a research on the application of experimental psychology to the travel map's symbol design.Through the confusing differentiation experiment,the author analyzes the influence of vision and mental factors on the travel map's symbol design and makes some researches and practice in order to improve the travel map's symbol design and the map's expressive force.At last some useful revelations have been obtained.
