Abstract

The water quality and nutrient saline levels in sediments of 17 lakes in Anhui Province were investigated and evaluated.The results from water quality evaluation showed that the water quality of 1 lake was calssified into Category V and that of 16 lakes was classified into Category IV.The results from eutrophication evaluation indicated that the nutrition levels of 2 lakes were moderate,14 lakes were lightly eutrophicated and 1 lake was eutrophicated in midrange.
