Discussion on evaluation methods of uranium source conditions for sandstone-type uranium deposits

Abstract

There are various kinds of uranium source leading to the ore-formation of sandstone-type uranium deposits, it may come from rocks in the provenance areas, from uranium pre-enriched ore-hosting horizon themselves of the basin and from the uranium source underneath the basin (including uranium contained in the oilfield water and uranium introduced by tectonic hydrothermal fluids, etc.). The paper focuses the discussion on the evaluation methods of the uranium source from provenance areas and ore-hosting horizon, and oilfield water from the depth, which effect the ore-formation of sandstone-type uranium deposits.
