Abstract

Wholly the theory of temperature boundary layer in pipeline is studied by the paper. It puts forward the equation of temperature boundary layer of pipeline, temperature distribution in temperature boundary layer. It is given the calculation expression of boundary layer thickness about laminar and turbulent flow. The calculated results are demonstrated by;1) the influence of viscosity will accelerate the development of temperature boundary layer; 2) the thickness of temperature boundary layer in turbulent flow is slow as in laminar flow.
