Abstract
Objective:To observe the characteristics of different fasting plasma glucose and perioperative C-Peptide in patients subject to open celiotomy(0C)VS laparoscopic surgery(LS) and transvaginal surgery(TS).Methods:Fifty-three cases undergoing elective operation were divided into OC group(n=15),LS group(n=21) and TS group(n=17).The values of fasting plasma glucose and C-Peptide were measured before the surgery as soon as finished and 24 hours after the elective surgery and compared between the three groups. Results:Fasting plasma glucose and C-Peptide level in LS group and TS group when finished and 24 hours after operation were much less than that of open group, the difference between the three groups was statistically significant. Conclusion:LS surgery and TS may be safer for the fasting plasma glucose and postoperative C-Peptide in patients who undergo gynecological surgery.
