Abstract

The pathogenicity of 28 X.o.pv.oryzicola strains collected from different areas in China were identified based on strain-cultivar interaction.5 of 19 varieties with different resisitance genes were selected and compose a set of differential varieties(IRBB5?IRBB7?IRBB3?IRBB21 and JG30).Upper leaves were inoculated with selected strains by needle puncture.Accoding to the virulence against the differential varieties conducted,It shows that the virulence of these strains was differentiated distinctly.Weak interaction patterns were proved mainly between pathogens and rice varieties,Some strong interaction was discovered. They were RRRRS?RRRSS?RRSSS?RSSRS?RSSSS.It was suggested that the X.o.pv.oryzicda can be classified into 5 race groups of pathotypes.
