Abstract
Objective:To investigate the distribution of AZF microdeletion on Y chromosome.Methods:Nine loci of 4 regions of the AZF gene were investigated by simple PCR in 127 patients with azoospermia.Results:The rate of microdeletion was 11.81%(15 out of 127 patients).The deletion was on AZFa in 2 patients,AZFb in 1 patient,AZFc in 8 patients,AZFa + b + c in 1 patient,AZFb + c in 2 patients,AZFd in 1 patient,respectively.Conclusion: The common microdeletion regions was AZFc on Y chromosome in azoospermia in Xiamen area.
