Abstract
In order to improve the operation of cyclone separator condition, improve its working performance,RNG k-e turbulent model,SIMPLEC calculation method, stochastic trajectory model were used to describe the cyclone separator. An investigation was carried out to numerical the pressure losses and classification efficiency for cyclone separator based on the Fluent software,to draw different volumetric flow rate on the separation efficiency of the cyclone. The results show that, the increase of volumetric flow can improve the separation efficiency, but with a larger power consumption cost, there is the most economic volume flow rate value causes the cyclone separator performance to achieve the best.On energy saving and efficient use of cyclone separator has a certain theoretical value.
