Abstract
By analyzing Yu Dafu’s view on prose and his individuality in prose, this paper opines that the lyric individuality in Yu’s prose is characterized by frankness, simplicity and naturalness, and that his lyric prose is individualistic, genuine and informative with an undertone of revealing one’s innermost feelings, which exhibits his style of individualistic discourse.
