Abstract

The numerical result of limit difference method is combined with rigid limit equilibrium method to evaluate slope stability, which is a better theory and applications in engineering practice. Based on this idea, the slip line theory into slippery slope to determine the arc,the comprehensive limit equilibrium method to calculate the factor of safety, the safety factor to establish a functional relationship with the slip lines,to achieve the most dangerous slip surface search, and based on examples show the influence of various parameters on the position of the mechanical slip surface with safety factor of the slope. The results showed that the strength and deformation parameters of rock media have an impact on slope stability and slip surfaces. This method is an effective complement to existing slope stability calculation system.
