Abstract

Effects of red, blue and green monochromatic light as well as red and blue composite light on tobacco seedling pigment content and photosynthetic characteristics were studied. Results show that: Red,blue and green monochrome light can reduce pigment content of flue-cured tobacco seedling.Red and blue composite light resulted no significant difference compared with white light.Red and blue composite light were conducive to photosynthetic pigment synthesis.Composite red and blue light and deep red light can improve rate of photosynthesis while reduce intercellular CO2 concentration.Green light can significantly reduce Pn.Dry matter accumulation of tobacco seedlings treated by green was the least.Monochromatic blue light increased soluble protein content significantly and reduced soluble sugar content.Monochromatic red light increased soluble sugar content and reduced soluble protein content significantly.Red and blue composite light increased content of soluble sugar as well as soluble protein.
