Abstract

The microwave-assisted extraction technology of the flavonoids in safflower was studied. The effects of alcohol concentration, microwave time, microwave power, microwave temperature and the ratio of solid to liquid on recovery rate of flavonoids were investigated by single factor and orthogonal design methods. The results showed that the optimal conditions were 60% alcohol, ratio of solid to liquid 1:35,microwave power 800W,extraction time 25 min, extraction temperature 50℃ and 2-times extraction,by which the extraction rate of flavonoids reached 10.23%.
