Abstract

Objective : To study the expression and histological distributive characteristic and effect in relative resting hypertrophic scar and keloid. Methods : Utilize Immunohistochemistry to detect the expression and distributing of IV Collagen in relative resting hypertrophic scar and keloid. Results: The expression of IV collagen was detected in all of the sample of relative resting hypertrophic scar and keloid. The area of expression was in basal layer of scar epidermis, perivascular and skin appendages, and the intensity of expression in hypertrophic scar was higher than in keloid. Conclusion: It indicates that IV collagen may paly an important role in the change of relative resting hypertrophic scar and keloid.
