Abstract

Tomotherapy is an advance IMRT technique, it works in a way of CT mode, delivery beams around one slice of the tumor target to implement radiation treatment, Tomotherapy multileaf collimator (MLC) is the main equipment. Tomotherapy MLC attached at serial accelerator directly, is easy to attach and detach, with rotating and moving of a therapy couch, it implement intensity modulated radiation therapy.
