Abstract

Through introducing the theories and research patterns of cognitive psychology into the field of e- conomics,psychologists and behavioral economists bring forward the proposition of overconfidence of investors.This paper makes a thorough review of research on the theory of overconfidence at both home and abroad,and summari- zes the deficiencies in order to promote this study in China and guide the healthy development of Chinese securities markets.
