Abstract

Urban sustainable development is an important part of sustainable development strategy. The urban planning is an effective means to put into effect sustainable development strategy in city. It is also an important link to guide urban sustainable development when sustainable development theory was used in the urban planning. According to sustainable development principle, the urban planning should have characteristics of tendency towards future, towards eco-environmental protection and towards community.
