Evaluation on Biological Activity of a New Herbicide ZJ0166

Results of bioassay in greenhouse showed that ZJ0166,a new compound which synthesized by zhejiang base,exhibited good herbicidal activity against most grass,some broadleaf weeds and sedge at dosage of 40－150g／hm2 in greenhouse,and kept safety to rape and cotton plant．As a sensitive target of ZJ0166,broomcorn method assayed its value of ED50 of 0．17mg／L．By the methods of the active carbon isoltion,spraying leaves and pouring roots,ZJ0166 with good translocation in plants was absorbed through root,bud and leaves．Field trials revealed that ZJ0166 could control worst weeds such as black－grass and chickweed at a low dosage of 15－45 g／hm2 in the rape and wheat fields and had less effects on the growth of rape,and improved the production,but it was phytotoxic against wheat at the dosage of 45g／hm2．
