Abstract
To clarify the relationship between housing price and land price is the basis of Fuzhou local government precise regulation of the real estate market.This paper,based on the quarterly data of housing sales price index and land transaction price index from 1999to 2010and using Granger causality test,does an empirical analysis on the relationship between housing price and land price in Fuzhou city.The results showed that Fuzhou city housing price and land price influenced each other in the short term.In turn,housing price significantly affected land price in the long term,rather than the opposite.Accordingly,this paper puts forward some policy recommendations:Firstly,the real estate market supervision and information release system should be further strengthened;Secondly,adjustment of land transactions should be continued;Finally,the land transfer income should be put into the management and use of the budget.
