Abstract
Biocontrol of 15 endophytic actinomyces strains isolated from tomato and other plants in Shanxi province were preliminary studied. The number of actinomyces was different in different plants.Actinomyces in the tomatoes were most and accounting for 60 percent. There were more actinomyces in the root than in other organs. There were obviously more actinomyces in Zhongza No.8 than other varieties of the tomato.Inhibition on 15 endophytic actinomyces to 16 plant pathogens was tested.10 actinomyces had inhibition to pathogens that were more than 60 percent. It showed that antibiosis spectrums of these endophytic actinomyces were wide.Lj20 and Fq24 had strong antagonistic effect, which could be further screened on antagonism and studied on bioassay.
