Abstract
The synergism of Spodoptera litura, Mamestra brassicae, He li vocerpa armigera, Xestia cnigrum nucleopolyhedrovirus combined with X. c nigrum granulosis virus and Macdunoughia confusa cytoplasmic polyhedrosis virus on S. litura and S. exigua were studied. The results showed that the combination of SlNPV with XcGV and McCPV shortened the duration of infection in S. litura, XcGV and McCPV could decreased the lethal time of 50 percents individuals (LT50) of 3rd instar larvae 0.5-2.5d and 0.6-2.9d, respective ly. And XcGV also shortened the lethal duration of SlNPV and XcNPV on S. exig ua, the LT50 of 2nd instar larvae decreased by 1.3 and 1.7d respectively . But the above insect viruses didn't increase the infection capability.
