Abstract
Compared with the Han and the Tang Dynasty,Yuan had a much shorter history of less than 100 years,but it had many special phenomena in its political life,one of which is the differential treatment of all the nationalities generalized as the so-called four-social-estate system.It is in nature a matter of politics and culture.Yuan's politics was enormously influenced by traditional Mongolian culture.Due to the existence of the strong grassland culture,it never walked on the right route of those successive dynasties on the Central Plains.If the founding of the Yuan Dynasty benefited from the rigorous Mongolian culture,then it was also destroyed by the dregs in its culture.
