Histological Observation of Stomach and Small Intestine of Cynops orientalis

[Objective]To observe the histological structure of the stomach and small intestine of Cynops orientalis.[Method]Slices of stomach and small intestine of Cynops orientalis were prepared,and then observed by microscope.[Result] The Stomach wall and small intestine wall of Cynops orientalis were made up of four concentric layers,which were mucosa,submucosa,muscular,serosa ento-ectad.The submucosa of small intestine wall was obscured.The thicker mucosal folds to cavity were formed.The muscular layer was constructed by circular fibers and longitudinal fibers.The intestinal villi was formed by mucosal epithelium and lamina propria which protrude to lumen of intestinal.The intestinal villi was intensive and higher near the duodenum,and becoming shorter and thin to the distal(terminal ileum).[Conclusion] The structure of stomach and small Intestine of Cynops orientalis is single.The wall of stomach and small intestine were thin,and the muscular layer was underdeveloped.
