Abstract
Using the diagonal five-point sampling method,the investigation to weeds of Dongshan Vegetable Garden in Suzhou City was carried out.The results showed that the weeds of vegetables garden were 67 species,belonging to 24 families,including the broad-leaved weeds 52 species, which account for 78%,gramineae weeds 13 species,account for 19%,cyperaceae weeds 2 species,account for 3%.The weeds of relative abundance above 10% in turn were Malachium aquaticum,Galium aparine,Aloecurus japonicus,Digitaria sanguinalis,Erigeron canadensis,Leptochloa chinensis, Vicia sativa,Echinochloa crusgalli,Oxalis corniculata,etc.The relative abundance of first 6 weed species was above 20%,which could be regarded as the dominant species of weeds in the vegetable garden.
