Research and Realization of Equipment Library Based on SolidWorks

Discussed some redevelopment methods of equipment library based on SolidWorks,including creating redevelopment software framework with Dynamic Linked Library(DLL),accessing API provided by SolidWorks with COM technique,establishing equipment library through dividing up the whole equipment,creating equipment information library based on equipment library,serializing models using configuration,and the application of compression and hiding technique in SolidWorks redevelopment,etc.This article provides a particular method to help developers to design redevelopment solution based on equipment library rather than standard parts library.
