Abstract
Objective:To explore the related risk factors of onset of asthma in children, and provide a theoretical basis for preventing childhood asthma. Methods:One hundred and twenty children with asthma were selected as case group from December 2008 to December 2011,and 240 children without respiratory diseases during the same period were selected as control group;non-conditional univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis were adopted to analyze the risk factors of onset of asthma in children. Results:The related risk factors of onset of asthma in children included allergic history, idiocrasy, family histories of asthma and allergy, severe respiratory infection in the recent period, and smoking of one of the parent. Conclusion:For the children with risk factors of asthma, respiratory infection should be prevented, exposure to allergens should be reduced, and passive smoking should be avoided.
