Abstract

Tectona grandis classified as Tectona plant of Verbenaceae is one of the most valuable timber tree species in the world.This paper introduces Tectona grandiss biological characteristics,technique essentials of vegetative propagation namely tissue culture,and afforestation skill;furthermore it elaborates the visions for spreading Tectona grandis in Yunnan province.
