Abstract
A new image reconstruction technology—Electrical Impedance Tomography(EIT) is presented.EIT can find the diseased tissue in accordance with the fact that different tissues have different electrical properties(electrical conductivity and permittivity) and the same tissue has different electrical properties based on whether it is in normal state or pathological changes.Facilities based on EIT technology obtain the distribution of electrical properties through the placement and measurement of the currents and voltages on the surface of the tissue, and reconstruct the images of the tissue by related reconstruction algorithm. After that the main questions of EIT and corresponding solutions is analyzed. Finally, the typical applications of EIT in medicine and the trend of EIT are demonstrated.
