Abstract
Composites of poly(lactic acid)(PLA) and bamboo fibers(BF)were prepared via injection molding. The interface in the composites was modified using alkali(NaOH),isocyanate(MDI),and NaOH+MDI treatments. The thermal and dynamic thermal mechanical properties of the composites were investigated. All three interface control methods improved the thermal and dynamic thermal mechanical properties of PLA/BF composites, with the synergistic effect between NaOH and MDI being the most effective.
