Chiang Kai-shek's Stance on anti-"Taiwan independence"

Since the end of WWII,particularly during his reign in for a quarter of century,Chiang Kai-shek had always been adhering to the anti-Taiwan Independence.He not only cracked down Independence organizations and their activities resolutely both inside and outside the Island,but also strongly condemned the acts of Japanese government and its right-wing politicians who supported independence.Moreover,he rejected Japanese's proposal that instigated the authorities to be independent.This is of the most important reasons why independence forces did not expand,and two Chinas or one China,one Taiwan attempt did not succeed within this period.
