Abstract
A detailed test of the wind pressure distribution of the Guangzhou International Convention Exhibition Center was carried out in a Boundary Layer Wind Tunnel. The contours of the mean and minimal wind pressure coefficients were presented. The analysis of the characteristics of the mean wind pressure, fluctuating wind pressure, coherence functions and correlation coefficients of the long-span roof structure located in the high turbulence district were conducted. It has been found that high negative pressure occurs on the roof corner on the windward and positive pressure will occur on the leeward, and that the coherence functions of fluctuating pressure decrease when the frequencies and the distance between the two taps increase. The results will be very useful for the design of future long-span roof structures.
