Comparative Evaluation and Strategic Countermeasure of Tongling City Competitiveness

Along with the formation,extension and adjustment of world city system,the role of urban in regional economic became importance,urban was the main carrier and terrace of national and regional competitive.Attaching and promoting urban competitiveness,becoming the focal study of each country and regional,it was the key to effective advancing urbanization and promoting regional economical level.This paper comparatively analyzed the regional competitiveness level of the comprehensive economical strength,industry,enterprise,opening,technology,infrastructure,human resources and urban environment etc.Results indicated that Tongling city had the good regional competitiveness superiority,high regional competitiveness level,and industry superiority was the important fact of key competitiveness;small scale and serious eco-environmental pollution was the main factor of impeding the urban competitiveness.
