Aim To analyze the law of the medical formula of purgative prescriptions in decoction of rhubarb and aconite Methods Summed up 24 purgative prescriptions in decoction of rhubarb and aconite and analyzed the theory foundation ResultsThe 8 therapeutic principles include promoting the circulation of Qi,purging heat,dispelling retained water, promoting blood circulation, preventing vomiting, removing stagnancy,etc Conclusion By downward-moving organs, calming viscera and resisting evil, the purgative prescriptions achieve the objective of healing
