Abstract
A great upsurge in breeding of mud loach is rising in China.Fishman is looking forwards to fine varieties of it.Studies on embryogenesis is the foundation of breeding of new varieties of loach. In this paper, embryogenesis characteristics of Paramisgurnus dabryanus from northern Hennan province was reported.Fertilized eggs were incubated in at 23 ℃ and the process of embryogenesis was observed consecutively. The total development time of every development stage was noted and calculated and the characteristic images were taken. The result showed that the process of embryogenesis was divided in 6 stages from fertilization to hatching.10 topical phases were observed including cleavage, blastula, gastrula, neurula, myomere, caudal bud, embryo movement stage;pre-hatching stage and hatching stage. The embryonic development of P.dabryanus spended 24 h 20 min.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
