Analysis of core authors of Chinese Journal of Applied Ecology in 1990-2011

The first author or the only author of Chinese Journal of Applied Ecology during 1990-2011 was analyzed and the core authors were selected by using comprehensive index method,based on China Academic Journal Network Publishing Database of CNKI.The results showed that there were 43 core authors in Chinese Journal of Applied Ecology from 1990 to 2011,in which,2 core authors' current situations were not to know,4 core authors were associate researcher or associate professor,the others were researcher or professor.23 core authors come from institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences,1 core author comes from East China Sea Fishery Research Institute,Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences,the others come from the famous universities.At present,Chinese Journal of Applied Ecology already have a relatively stable and higher levels' core authors group,but we should continue to develop excellent author and rich core author group in the fierce competition among academic journals.
