Abstract
The leaching process of sinter which was made of middle grade bauxite of Guizhou province was studied. The effects of concentration of soda, reaction temperature, and agitation rate on the leaching rate were determined. The results showed: the leaching rate is proper when the concentration of soda is controlled at 0.95mol/L~1.95mol/L;the leaching rate of aluminate is not influenced by stirring speed when stirring rate is above 400 r/min.Leaching kinetics of calcium aluminate sinter is studied. The leaching process can be modeled with the shrinking core model of the first order reaction. The frequency factor is 2.54×10-9;the apparent activation energy is 15.84 kJ/mol.
