Abstract

Objective To discuss the clinical applications value of ultrasound elastography technology in diagnosing thyroid nodule. Methods Preoperative conventional ultrasonic nodules and ultrasound elastography characteristics by operation and pathology of 127 cases thyroid nodule patients(158 nodules) were retrospectively analyzed, and compared with pathology. Results All 127 benign nodules were confirmed by pathology in 158 thyroid nodule,109(85.8%) were 0~Ⅱ grade and 18(14.2%) nodules lastic grading were Ⅲ~Ⅳ grade.4(12.9%) of 31 malignant nodules in elastic grading were 0~Ⅱ grade, and 27(87.1%) were Ⅲ~Ⅳ grade. The sensitivity and specificity of the ultrasound elastosonography in differentiating benign and malignant thyroid nodules was 87.1% and 85.8%,was higher than that of conventional ultrasound 67.7% and 81.1%(P0.05).Conclusion Ultrasound elastosonography technology can improve the efficiency of differential diagnosis of in benign and malignant thyroid nodules.
