Clinical efficacy of LEEP treatment on cervical lesions

Objective To investigate the efficacy of cervical loop electrosurgical excision procedure(LEEP) treatment of cervical lesions and follow-up observation.Methods Total of 50 cases patients with cervical lesions admitted to hospital on April 2008 to February 2012 used LEEP treatment,and the surgery and postoperative efficacy were observed.Results In the group,47 cases patients were cured after surgical treatment,the cure rate was 94.0%,three cases was effective,the total efficiency was 100%.The operative time was 15 minutes,an average of 6.3 minutes,intraoperative blood loss was 5-50mL,an average of 18mL.Conclusion LEEP knife ring transurethral cervical lesions has shorter operative time,less bleeding and quicker recovery,and can effectively block the development of precancerous lesions to invasive carcinoma,has significant clinical effect,should be widely applied.
