Abstract

Field experiment was conducted to study the effect of drip irrigation and micro-sprinkler irrigation on Water Consumption,Yields and Quality of aged Walnut trees, which used the same irrigation schedule. The experiment results showed:①Under the condition of drip irrigation, the average of daily water consumption in blooming stage, fruit accelerated growth stage crust stage and maturity stage were 2.9mm,3.97mm,5.55mm and 3.39mm respectively.Water consumption of micro-sprinkler irrigation was different from drip irrigation, but in fruit accelerated growth stage and maturity stage the cumulation of water consumption of Both irrigations had no difference.②The water use efficiency of drip irrigation was about 15% higher than micro-sprinkler irrigation. The yield of drip irrigation was higher than that of sprinkler irrigation.③Under the condition of two Irrigation methods, the content of protein of drip irrigation was higher than micro-sprinkler irrigation and as same as the ratio of bared kernel.Other indexes made no difference.
