Abstract

Micro-amounts of inorganic arsenic in food was separated from MMA and DMA by cation exchange resin, and determined by HG-AFS.Preparation of the cation exchange column and analytical conditions, including pH of eluent, flow rate of eluent, and interferences of the coexisting ions were studied and optimized.Detection limit (3s/k) found was 0.76μg·L~(-1),and RSD(n=12) was 1.8%.The proposed method was used in the determination of inorganic arsenic in cucumber sample, giving the values of recovery in the range of 96.3%-98.2%.
