Abstract
In order to organize and manage design knowledge efficiently and represent design knowledge in each stage during design process,this paper builds a case-based product design knowledge management system.This paper is based on content and characteristics of design knowledge,and the relationship between raw design data,design knowledge and workable design products is processed with the help of related knowledge management theory.The role of cases during product design is discussed and classification of cases' properties is accomplished.Besides,product design knowledge management system is developed under conditions of Wamp with PHP programming language and supported by MySQL database.In the end,product design knowledge management system is designed and completed and takes design of MP3 as an example to verify.
