Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To explore a better extraction process of Radix Astragali.METHOD:Using astragaloside IV as the detection index to explore the extraction process by orthogonal design.RESULTS:The optimum extraction condition is:soaking in 12 times amount of water for half an hour and decocting 2 hours each time for 3 times.CONCLUSION:Radix Astragali should be extracted by water and the extraction rate of astragaloside IV is more than 90%.
