Abstract

The dynamic strength and toughness of seamless 9Cr-lMo-V-Nb-N thick-walled pipes were investigated by means of oscilloscope charpy impact tests. The results show that the toughness under high temperature is almost the same as those made by Sumitomo Metal Industries Ltd, but the toughness under room temperature is worse.
