Abstract

Markedness theory has a lot of revelation in the comparative study of native language and target language,and also in the second language teaching.Differential markedness displayed at different aspects of linguistics,and the establishing standard for it and its revelation in SLA are the main contents of the article;The research on the markedness of subjunctive mood confirms that the differential markedness theory can explain and predicate second language learners’difficulty better than other theories.
