Abstract
Reflectance mode confocal laser scanning microscopy, using the principle of the variations of refractive index within the tissue and cells, can provide real-time and dynamic scanning of the structures of skin, and offer the transverse image in high resolution comparable to routine histology. In confocal images, the structures of tissue and cell are demonstrated through different grey scales.Being entirely non invasive,it has a wide prospective in auxiliary diagnosis of skin diseases. This review is about the principle of confocal laser scanning microscopy imaging and the application in the diagnosis of skin diseases.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
