Abstract

The effect of rice straw incorporation on soil nutrient and rice yield was studied using Kendao 12 as the material through field experiment. There was no significant difference in soil nutrient contents between the rice straw removal treatment and the rice-straw incorporation treatment, but the accumulation of soil nutrients increased with the increasing of application amount of rice straw returned. There was no significant difference among the rice straw incorporation of 4.5 t/hm2,rice straw incorporation of 9.0 t/hm2 and the rice straw removal treatment in panicles,1 000-grain weight and grain yield. The rice straw incorporation of 9.0 t/hm2 plus 135 kg pure nitrogen conduced the highest yield and was adequate to be applied in frigid zone.
