Abstract
Seventy-eight salt-affected soil samples in semi-desert areas were selected. Based on 1∶ 5 soil to water extract method,data of electrical conductivity( EC1∶ 5),total electrolyte concentration( TEC1∶ 5),total dissolved solids( TDS1∶ 5) and soil salt content( St) were obtained. The results showed that there were significant( r2= 0. 99,P 0. 01) relationships between these indices such as TEC1∶ 5= 11. 28 × EC1∶ 5, TDS1∶ 5= 63. 37 × TEC1∶ 5and St= 3. 60 × EC1∶ 5.
